Kids & Family Programs

The Bloomfield Children's Library offers year-round storytimes in both English and Spanish for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. After-school tutoring is available for kids in grades K-6. Children of all ages are encouraged to take part in our popular annual summer reading programs. 

Our programs are free and children of all abilities are welcome. Registration is not required unless specifically noted on the Library's event calendar.

Storytime & Crafts

All Ages

"Toddler Time!" and "Pre-K Kids" storytimes provide interactive learning activities where kids of all ages enjoy age appropriate stories, songs and fun with our children's librarian and guest community storytellers.

Storytime Boogie

For children ages 5 and under.

All are welcome to join us and experience books being brought to life through dance and other movement activities that go along with our theme. Put on your boogie shoes and come on down for a can’t miss good time. This program is provided in partnership with and hosted at the Shooting Star Dance Center.
