Online Library Resources for Kids & Caregivers
With your library card, you'll have access to our 24/7 digital library catalogs. Browse thousands of eBooks and audiobooks including educational non-fiction and popular fiction titles for all reading levels and ages through our OverDrive service and its Libby app. Flip through kid-friendly eMagazines including American Girl, NatGeo Kids, Highlights, Muy Interesante Junior and many more by logging into RBdigital.
Free apps are available (for both Apple and Android) that allow you to instantly download ebooks, audiobooks and magazines to your smartphone, laptop, tablet, or e-reader.
Online Research & Learning for Kids
Additional apps offer learning services for language lessons and test prep. Browse through titles from our featured resources and check out our Kids Research and Learning page for a more comprehensive listing of helpful online resources to help with school work or just for personal learning and development.

Don't forget to send Ruby your photos! Email ruby@bplnj.org

are doing!
She is making a photo album on our Facebook page!
Kid Art on Display
Visit the Children's Library to see monthly rotating exhibits of artwork created by Bloomfield elementary school students. Check our current event flyers above to see which school is currently being featured.
Visiting with Ruby & Friends
Kids and caregivers often enjoy visiting with our pet rabbit, Ruby! An adorable ruby eyed rabbit, she was adopted by the library in 2016 and can usually be found hanging out in her deluxe two story bunny condo located just inside the main entrance of the Children's Library. Please keep in mind that while Ruby is typically at the library during our open hours, there is a chance that she'll be elsewhere getting some rest and quiet time when you visit.
Tutoring Services
Free tutoring for grades K-6 is offered by BHS Honor Society Students at the Bloomfield Public Library every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-7PM. Please contact the library to book a tutoring session or ask questions about this program.
